The network plus certification from compTIA can be said as the sign of competent to the professionals in the networking field. Network plus certification program is one of the international vendor neutral certification programs and it helps the professionals to gain credentials in handling all networking infrastructure like installations, configuration, managing, troubleshooting and maintaining etc. Network plus certification has been started during the year 1999 by computing technology industry association (comp TIA). There is no special prerequisite required to the candidates for certifying network plus certification program. However, comp TIA recommends all professionals to have minimum of 8 to 9 years of work experience in network administration or network support or network academic training etc. From the name itself it is clearly understood that this certification program will suit best only to the candidates who wish to start their career in networking field and also in support as well as administration internetworking environment career. Professionals seeking for re-certification in network plus program:

The latest version of network plus examination was recently launched during the early stage of the year 2009 and professionals who wish to upgrade with this latest examination in their certification will be having two options with them. One option is that candidates can take up with the examination directly and the other option is that the candidates can take up the network plus bridge examination (BR0-002) by scoring at least 500 marks. This exam consists of 50 questions with approximately 1 hour duration. Passing this examination shall be eligible in gaining the credentials of all features of this examination.
